“Whatever it takes
I give it all away
I wanna show my love in a thousand ways”
Just another WordPress site
I love couples who laugh together.
It doesn’t matter if they are 20 or 80.
It just warms my soul.
A couple that laughs together shows that they can get through anything.
It’s as if they choose to be happy even in the ups and downs of life.
It seems as if it’s assurance that they will make it.
Morris and Cynthia are that couple.
I don’t think I have ever laughed so much.
This is what turns my job into utter joy.
And makes life oh-so beautiful.
I met these two a few years ago when I first started photography and they have been my biggest support. Alot of my clients met me through Adri. It seemed that if she knew someone who was getting married, she’d immediately had them my card. Support like this means the world to me especially when there are days when you doubt yourself, your work and your future as a photographer. I understand that this is a cut-throat business, so to have someone rooting for you can make your day. So when Cory popped the question, I was elated. I knew that Adri would have the wedding of the year. I love them because of their simple romance. It’s what each girl growing up craves. We don’t need the castle or the crown, we just want to feel like a princess. This is why I am so excited for their wedding. I know that it won’t be about the venue, but about the people supporting them on their day. It will be about the little details that make them, well them. And this is why I love my job. I love capturing the love that surrounds a couple. I want to capture that moment where a man makes his woman feel like a princess and you can see it in her eyes. It’s the way they kiss, the way he holds her and seems to promise to never let her go. It’s that connection that I crave to capture over and over again. Trust me. It never gets old.
“Well, I don’t want the whole world
The sun, the moon, and all their light
I just want to be the only girl
You love all your life
You love all your life”
It’s a Saturday morning and I’m listening to Zee Avi while drinking iced coffee (of course)
It’s a perfect Summer morning. Not too hot. Just perfect.
The windows are open and the breeze gently ruffles the curtains in the house.
Fall is upon us. (My favorite season, if you must know).
Everything I adore happens in the Fall.
And I am oh so excited for Bryan and Celina’s wedding in Palm Springs in late November.
They just ooze romance…
And if they’re this easy to photograph admist onlookers at the Getty, I can’t imagine how their wedding will be.
