Kenny & Miranda | Crystal Cove Engagement
May 25, 2012
They chose Crystal Cove to do their engagement session because they go here every Fourth of July to the Shake Shack before hanging with friends and family for the day. I love how they chose to take time to spend together: to make traditions together. That’s what makes life more colorful, more enjoyable. It’s a little bit of magic that causes love to continue to surprise us year after year. It’s what changes love from just being an emotion into being something we carry for a lifetime.
Tony & Holly | Portland Harbor Engagement
January 19, 2012
I love whirlwind romances. The kind where they’ve been friends for a few years and then all of the sudden they fall madly in love. It makes my heart swoon. Tony and Holly are definitely that couple. They’ve been friends since high school and a few years past and all of the sudden they fell madly, deeply in love. I was so excited to photograph their engagement session in downtown Portland and on the river in December. (They were troopers to brave the 40 degree weather) and I am oh so excited for their March wedding!
“When you’re weak, I’ll be strong
When you let go, I’ll hold on
When you need to cry, I swear that I’ll be there to dry your eyes
When you feel lost and scared to death,
Like you can’t take one more step
Just take my hand, together we can do it”
Cody & Linda | Engagement Session
May 9, 2010
Neither of them were looking for love. Cody was planning to move to Nashville and Linda was on the fast track to finish school and start her career. A mutual friend introduced them, but they didn’t fall in love at first sight. Like many things in life, it took some time to cultivate. They spent a summer together, hanging out, getting to know each other, and then one day, it just clicked. They knew they would spend the rest of their lives together.
Cody and Linda is that couple that is simply better together. They love people whether they know them or not and they geniunely care about others, which I love. They’re vivacious and the moment you meet them, you want to be apart of their world. So on this Sunday, enjoy a big cup of coffee, curl up and enjoy this session.
It was Linda’s birthday, so we decided to throw her a party…

Daniel & Krystal
January 7, 2010
Can I just say I love this couple?
This was our second time shooting their engagement session because they wanted pictures that truly reflected both their personalities. So the first time we shot it was in the autumn sun in San Dimas. Perfect for that vintage “Anthropology” style that perfectly describes Krystal. This second session I think truly reflects Daniel’s taste: all-American with a touch of California love.
I tried really really hard to narrow it down to just these pictures, but can I just say, I love love love them? As I’m figuring out my style as a photographer, I hoping my vision is more of this. I hope you enjoy!
