Jeremy & Nichole | Alta Vista Country Club Wedding

I always admire couples that go through something challenging before they get married.

It may be buying a house, or graduating college or dealing with the unexpected downturns of life.

Whether good or bad, you can tell they’ve gone through something that has made them stronger.

Jeremy and Nichole are that couple that have gone through so much and are better because of it.

They don’t take life for granted and live by what they promise to their friends, family and most importantly to one another.

So on their wedding day, their vows weren’t based upon emotion or even upon love.

Their vows were based upon devotion.

A devotion that will only continue to grow as they journey through the years ahead.

“no man is an island
no man is a fool
when he finds himself a woman
and she helps him carry through
sometimes he is weary
sometimes he is lost
but no man is an island
when a woman’s what hes got
no man is an island
cause a woman’s what he needs”

Chris & Sharon: Westlake Village Inn Wedding

They wanted their day to be simple:

To celebrate their love and commitment without all the stress.

Sometimes, I think we focus so much on the details we forget the significance of the day, of the promises being made and the love being celebrated.

And at that end of the day, isn’t that all that matters?

Just a taste…

“And I don’t see ¬†how you could ever be

Anything but mine”
