Holly

January 6, 2010

So I hope I’m not the only one, but it seems that as I get older, my list of “I wishes” gets longer and longer.
I wish I would have spent more time with friends in high school.
I wish I would have been a camp counselor.
I wish I would have spent more time riding horses, running cross country….
…. the list goes on an on.

And as I get older, I attempt to “inform” high school students of the “I wishes”, but most of the time it goes in one ear and out the other.
But not this girl.

She was the Homecoming Queen, the cross country star and did I mention, she’s drop dead gorgeous?
But most importantly, she’s sweet, kind and selfless (yes, she’s a high school student. Hard to believe, huh?)
Holly’s one of those girls that’s going places in life.
She’s hoping to go into the Air Force after she graduates, which is A-maz-ing!
Holly: I hope you make it and no matter what, you are going places! I am so proud of you and remember to finish strong! Thanks for making my job so easy and fun!

You are the MOST AMAZING young lady!!!! I am in awe of the talent God has gifted you with and the fact that you are so professional, have an amazing eye for details while making your subject comfortable with the shots you see through the lens.

Thank you for sharing your day with us, thank you for being such a treasure in a young person and blessing the next generation with your gift of authentic edification.

I’m so proud of the adult you’ve become, because I was proud of the girl you were.

Always in your corner and forever cheering you on,
    Andrea

You have captured the essence of Holly–her beauty, but even more her spirit–resilient, gently, focused and lovely.
