Holly

So I hope I’m not the only one, but it seems that as I get older, my list of “I wishes” gets longer and longer.
I wish I would have spent more time with friends in high school.
I wish I would have been a camp counselor.
I wish I would have spent more time riding horses, running cross country….
…. the list goes on an on.

And as I get older, I attempt to “inform” high school students of the “I wishes”, but most of the time it goes in one ear and out the other.
But not this girl.

She was the Homecoming Queen, the cross country star and did I mention, she’s drop dead gorgeous?
But most importantly, she’s sweet, kind and selfless (yes, she’s a high school student. Hard to believe, huh?)
Holly’s one of those girls that’s going places in life.
She’s hoping to go into the Air Force after she graduates, which is A-maz-ing!
Holly: I hope you make it and no matter what, you are going places! I am so proud of you and remember to finish strong! Thanks for making my job so easy and fun!

Welcome to the New Blog!

After months of procrastination, making decisions and then changing my mind, my new blog is finally done! For those of you that are waiting for pictures, they will be up soon. quite soon! But right now I must must thank some people because without them, this project would have never happened.

First and foremost, I have to thank my wonderful friend Abi because she was the one that told me to stick with my gut and even if I had paid for another blog and designed it, but it still wasn’t me, that I needed to start over. Abi: thank you for your endless encouragement, your never-ending advice and always, always answering my questions via text.

Secondly, I have to thank my brother, Ezra, who is an amazing graphic design artist and pastor. I don’t know how he does all of it, but he does. When I came to him with my branding, all I had was an idea and he transformed it. For those of you that know me, you know I am a little scatter-brained to say the least. After countless emails and the amount of patience that would impress Mother Teressa, he exceeded my expectations. Thank you for all your help and making my vision come to life!

I must also thank Andrew, my 17 year old brother-in-law. This guy is one of those modern day Reinissance men. If he tries it, he’s not only good at it, but A-maz-ing at it. So when I approached him about taking my new portfolio pictures, he was excited, but I was nervous to say the least. It’s hard as a photographer to want to be in front of the lens. You feel awkward and personally, I like making other people pretty. I had high expections and Andrew blew me away. Thank you Andrew for making me look oh so dramatic:)

And finally, I must thank all of you readers for encouraging me and your kind sweet words. There have been times that I’ve wanted to throw in the towel, but you’ve encouraged me all the way. It’s what gives me fuel to tell your story. So as this new year, has just begun, I hope that you enjoy the new blog and the new name!

And what would a post be without a picture? Here’s just a taste of my next post.
