Matt and Michelle are clients who have turned into amazing friends. They are two people who love life and chase it with fearless abandonment. In less than three years, they have gotten married, had one sweet boy, started their own business while both working other jobs and are about to have their second baby. I’m in awe of how much they accomplish but more importantly how they do it with a smile on their face. You’ll never hear either one complain about how hard this season is. Instead they’re thankful for the little things and life’s daily blessings. When it’s so easy to see the dark of this world or complain about life’s difficulties, I am thankful for people like these two who remind me that there is always something to be thankful for.
I appreciate getting to spend time with people that fill your soul. You feel restored after spending time with them. Brooke and Lupe are two that allow you to walk away feeling refreshed and restored. I had the honor of photographing Brooke for her senior portraits. I knew she would grow to become an incredible young women. Her and Lupe are perfect for one another. I can’t wait for what the future holds for these two.
This day was perfect. I loved getting to photograph this sweet family on the beach without of a ton of people around us. It just made the day that more relaxing. Hannah is the sweetest little one and was perfect behind the camera. I was in awe of how at home she felt on the beach splashing in the water with her dad and attempting to eat the sand off her toes. I love family photos like this that just seem to flow. It makes life so sweet.
I know I say this all the time, but I loved this wedding. I’m in awe that after photographing weddings for so long, I still get teared up hearing the bride and groom exchange vows. I find myself hiding behind the camera and holding my breath when he sees her for the first time. I still get giddy when I catch those moments in which he looks at her in utter amazement like he can’t believe she said yes. Joey and Sarah’s wedding was truly special. It was full of moments in which you thank God that time stopped just for a second so you could capture those emotions. No one rushed through the day. They didn’t anxiously anticipate the next event, but simply savored each minute because they knew it was a day that would only happen once in a lifetime. Which, in my opinion, is how it should be.
Jess and Damon’s wedding was so beautiful. I just adore this couple and the love that surrounded them. Throughout the day I kept seeing Damon give Jess the sweetest looks. Like he was so lucky to have her has his wife. I can’t believe their love is so strong despite their age. I’m so excited for what’s to come for these two.
